FLESHMAN, Basil R. - Service will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Smathers Funeral Chapel, Rainelle, with the Rev. Ernest Martin officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Fleshman, 67, of Rupert, Greenbrier County, died Aug. 27, 1987, in Beckley VA Hospital, after a long illness. He was a member of Bascom United Methodist Church, Rupert. He was a disabled veteran and a retired janitor for Greenbrier Board of Education. Surviving: wife, Villa L.; sons, Phillip R. of Bellefontaine, Ohio, Paul L. and Edward L., both of Rupert; sisters, Eva Simpson of Sebring, Fla., Margaret Whisman of Orient Hill; brother, Paul R. of Sacramento, Calif.; two grandchildren.
