JOSEPH ALBERT McCLUNG died Tuesday morning, Mar. 21, 1933, at his home in Fayetteville, after an illness of about 10 years, caused by paralysis and old age. Before his illness, Mr. McClung was a shoemaker, and was widely known in Fayetteville. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mattie McClung; three sons, Kenneth McClung, Joe McClung, Frank McClung, all of Fayetteville; four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Turnbull, Parkersburg; Mrs. Willie Summers, Welch; Mrs. Vona Hoopes, Elizabeth, N.J., and Mrs. Myrtle Hogg, Jacksonville, Florida; three brothers, Watson McClung, Marshall McClung and Sanford McClung, all of Greenbrier county, and a sister, Miss Becky McClung, also of this county. Funeral services were held in the Fayetteville Baptist church, with Rev. R. B. Nelson officiating, and burial in the Fayetteville Cemetery.
