Mrs. Margie L. Goddard, 37, 340 South Eisenhower Drive, died at 8:15 p.m. Saturday after a long illness.
She was a member of the Fundamental Baptist Church at Prosperity.
She was born Jan. 8, 1928, at Rainelle the daughter of McKinley H. and Maggie Sanford Osborne.
Survivors other than her parents include her husband C. E. Goddard; two daughters, Regina C. and Janice C., both at home; three brothers, Melvin Osborne and Delvin Osborne, both of Rainelle, and Hobert Osborne of Belva.
The body is at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home pending completion of funeral arrangements.

GODDARD, Mrs. Margie L. ? 37, of Beckley died Saturday in the Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley after a long illness. She was a member of the Fundamental Baptist Church at Prosperity. Surviving are her husband, C. E. Goddard; two daughters, Regina and Janice, both at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. McKinley Osborne of Rainelle; three brothers, Melvin and Delvin, both of Rainelle and Hobert of Belva. Service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home in Beckley by the Rev. Thomas Mitchell and the Rev. E. H. Fisher. Burial will be in the family plot at Prosperity.
