RUPERT - William Dennis Crane, 91, of Rupert, Greenbrier County, died Tuesday in Greenbrier Valley Hospital, Ronceverte.
He lived in Rupert two years and was a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church at Kieffer. Mr. Crane was a retired carpenter.
Surviving: wife Thala Holland Crane; daughters, Mrs. Robert Hines and Mrs. Betty Collins, both of Covington, Va., Mrs. Ethel Richmond of Winter Haven, Fla.; sons, Ernest of Clintonville, Everett of Columbus, Ohio; stepdaughter, Mrs. Gayla Harvey of Clintonville; stepson, Bob Holland of Raleigh, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Sam Black United Methodist Church at Clintonville with the Rev. Leroy Crane and the Rev. D. C. Arbogast officiating. Burial will be in End of the Trail Cemetery, Clintonville.
The body will be taken to the church an hour before the service. Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle.
William married Nora Lee FLESHMAN, daughter of William Thompson Luther FLESHMAN and Melcina Frances "Fannie" MARTIN, on 24 Oct 1905 in Greenbrier Co., WV.
