Rachel Williams Succumbs At 80
RONCEVERTE (RNS) - Mrs Rachael Kelly Williams, 80, died Tuesday morning at her home here after a long illness.
She has been a resident of Ronceverte for the past 15 years and was a member of the Sinking Creek Baptist Church at Hughart.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Mattie Williams of Lewisburg, Mrs. Veo Loomis of Caldwell, and Mrs. Lucille Bland and Miss Io Williams, both of Ronceverte; six sons, Ray and Clarence, both of Ronceverte, W.A. of Lewisburg, Cecil of Sinks Grove, Clyde of Caldwell and Charles H., stationed at Columbus, Ohio, with the Air Force; 29 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Sinking Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. David Harper, the Rev. Alvin Hancock, and the Rev. Theodore Carte. Burial will be in the End-of-the-Trail Cemetery near Clintonville.
The body will be taken from Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte to the residence at 4 p.m. today.
