Ralph Lewis Hayslett, Jr, 69, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Lewis Hayslett, Sr. and Vera Hodges Hayslett Boyd, brother, Walter Boyd, and sister, Susan Kauffman. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Ralph III and Angela Hayslett of Troutville and Randy Hayslett of Buchanan; sisters, Virginia Harlow, Cathryn Dunbar, Linda Gale McGraw, Patricia (Henry) Brogan, Joyce (Donnie) Wilson, and Vera Denise Boyd, brothers, Johnny, Steve, and Gilbert Boyd; grandchildren, Brieann Hayslett, Eric and Kyle Hayslett; mother of his sons, Jeanette Dunman, and nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 2pm Sunday, March 18, 2012 in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald R. Staton officiating. Interment will follow at 4pm in Locust Bottom Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Botetourt Funeral Home and a reception after the graveside at 5pm at VFW Hall on 220.
