HAROLD "JOE' TOLER SR., 70, OF Rupert died Oct. 15, 1994, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Fairlea. He was a lifelong resident of Rupert, a Baptist and a member of Masonic Lodge 166, Midland Trail. He was a retired coal miner from Leckie Smokeless Coal Co., Anjean. Surviving: wife, Hallie G. King Toler; daughter, Linda Kay Burrell of Williamstown; sons, Harold L. Jr. of Rupert, Douglas W. of Powhatan, Va.; sisters, Doris Shupe of Belvedere, S.C., Madeline Lawson of Narrows, Va.; five grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. J.D. Surbaugh officiating. Burial with Masonic rites will be in End of the Trail Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
