EAST RAINELLE - Mrs. Ada Bivens Hines, 58, a Greenbrier County school teacher for 38 years, died yesterday at her home in nearby Crawley after a long illness.
Mrs. Hines, for the past 31 years, had taught in the East Rainelle Elementary School.
She attended Greenbrier County School for Women in Lewisburg, New River State College at Montgomery and Marshall University. Mrs. Hines was a member of Sam Black Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Joe; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie B. Dietz of Meadow Bluff and Mrs. Anna Piercy of Melbourne, Fla.; three brothers, Carl H. Bivens of Alderson, Dr. S. L. Bivens of Charleston, and R. J. Bivens of Meadow Bluff.
Services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in Sam Black Methodist Church by the Revs. Elbert Perkins and L. E. Milem. Burial will be in End of the Trail Cemetery near Clintonville.
