Services for Mrs. Pauline Roach, 63, of Mercer, Pa., widow of Harry V. Roach, manager of Blue Rock State Park who died in 1964, were held Monday at the Baumgardner Funeral Home in Andover, O., with Rev. Arnold Beckwith officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery at Andover.
Mrs. Roach was born April 4, 1906 at Wigville a daughter of James and Julia Gracey Sparling and had lived in Mercer, Pa. for the past four years where she was employed as a matron at the Mercer County Children's Home.
Surviving are a son, Jack V. Roach of Andover, a brother, Enoch Sparling of Andover, three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Eastlake of Seville, Mrs. Helen Drake of Tulare, Calif., and Mrs. Mary Hopkins of West Middlesex, Pa., and four grandchildren.
Pauline married Harry Vernon ROACH, son of Walter Edgar ROACH and Mary Ruth KELLY, in 1925.762 (Harry Vernon ROACH was born on 28 Sep 1899 in Hughart, Greenbrier Co., WV,13,24,763 died on 3 Jul 1964 in Blue Rock, Muskingum Co., OH 61 and was buried in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover, Ashtabula Co., OH.)
