SIMS, Burley Lewis ? Service for Mr. Sims, 61, of Springdale, who died Thursday, will be conducted at 2 p. m. Sunday in Springdale Baptist Church by Rev. Joe E. Smith and Rev. Charles F. Holms. Burial will be in Lowry Cemetery at Springdale. The body will be taken from Nickell mortuary in East Rainelle to the residence at 5 p. m. Saturday. Mr. Sims died in C & 0 Hospital at Clifton Forge, Va., after a three-week illness. He was a member of Springdale Baptist Church and a farmer. Surviving are his wife, Nannie; three sons, Lewis Basil of Beckley, Joseph Lincoln of Rainelle and Winfred Arnold Sims of East Rainelle; one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Ruth Martin of Charlton Heights; a half brother, Joseph Ray Sims of Flint, Mich.; a half sister, Mrs. Georgia Hilda Sanford of Rainelle; and 12 grandchildren.
Burley married Nannie A. LOWRY, daughter of Abraham L. LOWRY and Minnie A. FLESHMAN, in 1915.359 (Nannie A. LOWRY was born on 1 Apr 1893 in Spring Dale, Fayette Co., WV 55,79 and died in Jan 1982 in Fulton, Howard Co., MD 55.)
