N. Hayslett's Funeral Today
SUMMERSVILLE (RNS) - Newman Otis Hayslett, 57, of Mount Lookout, died Monday in a Weston hospital after a long illness.
He was a retired coal miner and a lifelong resident of Nicholas County.
Survivors include one daughter, Blendine, address unknown; one brother, Wesley of Mount Lookout; two sisters, Mrs. Rosie Humphries of Pool and Mrs. Mary Shaffer of Weston.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church at Mount Lookout with Rev. T. W. Carte in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body is at the Howard White Funeral Home in Summersville and will be taken to the church one hour prior to services.
