RUPERT - Juanita Trout McClung, 91, formerly of Leivasy, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2004, at Greenbrier Manor in Fairlea following a long illness.
Born Dec. 18, 1912, at Carl, she was the daughter of the late William Abraham and Phoebe Sawyers Trout.
Mrs. McClung was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arden McClung, and a son, Garold McClung, both of whom died in 1979; and 16 sisters and brothers, in addition to her parents.
Survivors include two daughters, Elma Johnson of Denver, Colo., and Faustine Ervin of Woodbine, Md.; two sons, Harold McClung of Crawley and William Clell McClung of Nettie; 10 grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, five stepgreat-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and one stepgreat-great-grandchild.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Wallace & Wallace Chapel, Rainelle, with the Revs. Ron McClung and Houston Boothe officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery, Carl.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Juanita married Arden Andrey McCLUNG, son of Andrew Charlton McCLUNG and Etta Catherine DEITZ. (Arden Andrey McCLUNG was born on 26 Dec 1906 in Nicholas Co., WV,55 died on 6 Jan 1979 in Leivasy, Nicholas Co., WV 46,55 and was buried in Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery, Carl, Nicholas Co., WV.)
