Harry Delano Jones, 65, a retired coal miner died August 17, 2011 at home following a long illness.
Born September 10, 1945 at Lawton, W.Va., he was the son of the late Harry Robert and Olive Louise Burnette Jones.
Also preceding him in death was his sister, Gladys Jones Fitzpatrick.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Sue Ella Morton Jones; two sons, Robert Marshall Jones and Jeffery Dalton Jones of Fairdale; his daughter, Clarissa Sunshine Jones of Saint Albans; one grandson, Jason Wolfgang Honaker of Arnett and one brother, Loran David Jones Sr. and wife Cynthia of Maplewood. He is also survived by three aunts, Belle Jones of Maplewood, Edna Morris of Meadow Bridge and Verta Pomroy of Manor Nursing Home at Lewisburg, and one very special cousin, Cathy Jones of Maplewood.
Loved ones and friends may attend graveside services at 1 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2011 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
