MRS. MARY L. SHORTRIDGE, 65, OF Rupert, Greenbrier County, died Oct. 8, 1990, at home after a long illness. She was a member of Victory Temple, Rupert, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving: husband, Albert Shortridge; daughters, Lois Midkiff of Springdale, Tammy Boggess of Harrisonburg, Va.; son, Arnold of Kernersville, N.C.; sisters, Violetta Yoney of Orient Hill, Olive Maynard of Fontana, Calif., Arlena Millman of Forks, Wash.; brothers, Charles Pitsenbarger of Denver, Glen Pitsenbarger of Craigsville, Lofton Pitsenbarger of Charmco, Chalmer Pitsenbarger of Oak Hill; four grandchildren. Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Felix Baker officiating. Entombment will be in Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, Clintonville. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
