MRS. JOSIE O'DELL DIES ON THURSDAY

Mrs. Josie O'Dell, age 71, of Carl, Nicholas County, died yesterday morning at her home.

Surviving are the follow: husband, Emory C. O'Dell, of Carl; one daughter, Mrs. Annie May Harman, of Wilson, Pa.; one son, the Rev. Arnold E. Tulloh, of Barbersville.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at the Baptist Church at Carl. The body will remain at the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home until the funeral hour.

Josie married John W. TULLOH on 29 Nov 1892 in Bath Co., VA.⁷⁰⁶⁸ (John W. TULLOH was born in 1859 in Louisa Co., VA ⁷⁰⁶⁸ and died before 1900.)

Josie next married Edward W. LAFFEN on 3 May 1913 in Cowen, Webster Co., WV.⁷⁰⁶⁹ (Edward W. LAFFEN was born in 1844 in Bangor, Penobscot Co., ME,⁷⁰⁷³ died on 25 Jan 1922 in Cowen, Webster Co., WV ⁷⁰⁷³ and was buried on 28 Jan 1922 in Cowen, Webster Co., WV ⁷⁰⁷³.). The cause of his death was pnuemonia - lobar.⁷⁰⁷²

Josie next married Emery Cavendish O'DELL, son of Thomas Hawkins O'DELL and Hannah JUDY, on 11 Oct 1923 in Hominy Falls, Nicholas Co., WV.⁷⁰⁷⁰ (Emery Cavendish O'DELL was born on 18 Oct 1877 in Leivasy, Nicholas Co., WV,⁷⁰⁷⁴ died on 13 Mar 1951 in Carl, Nicholas Co., WV ⁷⁰⁷⁴ and was buried on 15 Mar 1951 in Carl Cemetery, Carl, Nicholas Co., WV ⁷⁰⁷⁴.). The cause of his death was congestive heart failure/hypertension cardiovascular.⁷⁰⁷²
