Mrs. Sallie Kessler Martin - Mrs. Martin, 86, died early Wednesday at the home of a son, Dr. H. C. Martin or East Rainelle. Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Keffer of Clintonville and the Misses Susie and Tessie Martin of East Rainelle; six other sons, A. P. Martin of East Rainelle, Wade, Charles, Kent and Archie Martin of Rupert and G. B. Martin of Charleston; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Sallie married James E. MARTIN, son of Samuel MARTIN and Margaret Bollar McCLUNG, on 22 Aug 1872 in Greenbrier Co., WV.¹⁸ (James E. MARTIN was born on 11 Dec 1837 in Greenbrier Co., VA,¹³ ^,46 died on 15 Oct 1903 ⁴⁶ and was buried in Amwell Baptist Church Cemetery, Rupert, Greenbrier Co., WV.)
