- Obituary -- Starr Carme Crane Beitz
RUPERT -- Mrs. Carma Ruth Beitz, 89, died Saturday in a Ronceverte nursing home after a long illness.
Born June 12, 1896, at Rupert, she was the daughter of the late William S. and Mary Young Crane.
Mrs. Beitz was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, JoAnn Judy of Lennon, Mich.; two sons, Walter Beitz, Jr. of Beckley and Julian Wesley Beitz of Rupert; a sister, Prudence Piercy of Clintonville; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home chapel in Rainelle with the Rev. Leroy Crane officitaing. Burial will be in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville.
