- Obituary - Lillian Emma Patton Crane
CLINTONVILLE - Lillian E. Crane, 68, died Thursday, April 8, 1999, at her home following a long illness.
Born February 3, 1931, in Hughart, she was the daughter of the late Charles Landon Patton and Mary Etta Johnson Patton.
Mrs. Crane had been a resident of Clintonville since 1973, was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Esther Hager in 1996 and Vesta (Becky) Dunbar in 1971.
Survivors include her husband, Alstin O. Crane, a daughter Karen S. Hinz and her husband, Russell, of Clintonville, two sons, Daniel A. Crane and his wife Darlene, of Crawley and Gary L. Crane of Clintonville, four brothers, Orlen Patton of Elyria, Ohio, Corbet Patton of Sinks Grove, Lonzo Patton of Rupert and Sherwin Patton of Lewisburg and three grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Chapel, Rainelle, with the Rev. Leroy Crane officiating. Burial will follow in Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville. Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle.

KEIFFER, May 29 - Mrs. Mary Patton of Kieffer announces the marriage of her daughter, Miss Lillian Patton to Alstin Crane, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Crane of Renick. The marriage was performed by Rev. J. E. Smith at his Rupert residence at 3:30 p.m. on last Saturday, March 25.
The bride wore a blue suit with matching accessories and a corsage of pink carnations. Her only attendant was her sister-in-law Mrs. Ann Crane.
The groom had for his best man his brother Orval Crane, and Mrs. and Mrs. Clyde Franklin of Rupert also attended the wedding. Young Mrs. Crane is a graduate of Williamsburg high school. Mrs. Crane attended Renick high school, and is now employed at Fairlea near Lewisburg .
