- Obituary --Mittie Bernice Kenney Burns
Mrs. Mittie Burns, 93, of Charleston died Sept. 12, 1986, in Arthur B. Hodges Nursing Center after a long illness.
She was a member of Bream Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Surviving: sons, Howard J. Jr. and James L., both of Charleston; daughter, Alma M. Burns of Charleston; sister, Mrs. Texie Smith of Akron, Ohio; two grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Wilson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. J. Robert Booker officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
