  	Obituary -- Rev. Robert Bl;aine Farley FARLEY, Rev. Blaine, D.Div., went home to be with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ on September 24, 2016 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Judy and the late Doris. Loving father of Naomi Stiekes (Jim), Joyce Tollison (Ronnie), Karen Waters (Scott), Becky Waters, Debbie Romanow (Jim) and Beth Illsley (Brent). Proud and loving Papa of 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 1 granddaughter, 2 brothers and 1 sister. After proudly serving as a medic in the U.S. Navy, Rev. Farley graduated from Bob Jones University in 1950; a lifetime of devotion and service to Jesus Christ, the local church and thousands of people under his pastoral care followed. Rev. Farley served as pastor in churches in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and South Carolina; in 1966 he founded First Baptist Church of Sterling Hts. and faithfully served the church as its pastor until 1982 when he began ministering as an evangelist. Pastor Farley was respected and loved by all who knew him; he faithfully prayed for hundreds of people every day and was always concerned about the well-being of others. Visitation Friday, October 7 from 3-8pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile)., Sterling Hts. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 8 at 11am at First Baptist Church of Sterling Hts., 33380 Ryan Rd. (N. of 14 Mile Rd.), Sterling Hts. Committal services will be privately held at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Twp.
