- Obituary -- Phyllis Pauline Burr Burgess Gunnoe
LOOKOUT (RNS) -- Mrs. Phyllis Burr Gunnoe, 64, died Thursday in a Columbus, OHio hospital after a short illness.
Born Nov. 18, 1910, at Corliss, she was a daughter of the late Dixon and Myrtle Burr.
She was a member of the Minnie Bell Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star Lodge at Lookout.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Joe Carnaham of Columbus, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Zella Marks of Pool, Mrs. Geraldine Wood and Mrs. Patricia Rogers of Charleston, and Mrs. Louise Holiday of Harrington, Del.; four brothers, Weston of Russelville, Elson and Cecil, both of Corliss, and Toby of Stockport, Ohio, and two grandchildren.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home with Rev. Hilbert McClung in charge. Burial will be in the Reslawn Memory Gardens at Victor.
