Murrell Leon Helmick, 76, of Grassy Meadows passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021.
Born on February 3, 1945 in Vale, Greenbrier Co., WV, he was the son of the late Fred Thornton Helmick and Blanie Elizabeth Osborne Helmick.
Murrell was a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church for 61 years where he served as a trustee for 30 years. He was a 30 year retiree school bus driver.
Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Drema Deem Helmick and 1 son, Carl (Robin) Helmick of Dawson.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville with Pastor Billy Pate officiating.
