RITES TUESDAY FOR E. T. DEITZ
Aged Ronceverte Man To Be Buried From Baptist Church
RONCEVERTE, March 16 -- Funeral services will be held in the Ronceverte Baptist Church Tuesday at 2:30 for Edward Theodore Deitz, 70, of Ronceverte, who died at his home on Pocahontas Avenue Saturday, after he was stricken with a heart attack and cerebral hemorrage. Officiating at the funeral will be the Rev. J. R. Gillispie, assisted by the Rev. R. S. McClung, pastor of the Trinty Methodist church of Ronceverte. Burial will be in the River View Cemetery in Ronceverte.
Mr. Deitz has been a member of the Missionary Baptist church since 1907. Surviving are his wife and two daughters, Miss Edna Marie Deitz, Rupert high school teacher, and Mrs. Chester Bourne of Charleston.
Active pallbearers at the funeral will be Frederick Peck and Clyde Fullen, Lewisburg; Theodore Deitz, Covington; E. P. Meece, Marshall Fullen and Leroy Fullen of Rupert; Elliott Smith, Rainelle, and John Fullen of Ronceverte.
