- Obituary - Martha Emily Kirby Crane
Died at her home on Mill Creek Mountain, on the 3rd inst., Mrs. Martha E. Crane, wife of the late Edward Ebbetts Crane, in her 73rd year. She was born in Cambridge, Md., and came to Greenbrier in 1835 with Jos. S. Crane's family, of Baltimore, Md. She was a Christian, and was well versed in the scriptures and a member of a congregational church. She leaves two sons, six daughters and twenty-seven grandchildren.
