- Obituary -- Julia Stacy Morrison Hobbs
SMOOT -- Stacy M. Hobbs, 90, died 8:55 p.m. Friday, April 5, 1996 in a Fisherville, Va. nursing home following a long illness.
Born June 26, 1905, at Crawley, she was the daughter of the late Harvey H. and Rosa McClung Morrison.
Mrs. Hobbs was a member of the Smoot United Methodist Church and was retired from the Smoot Post Office with 20 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Hobbs in 1982 and a brother, Keith Morrison in 1963.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Viola B. Hanson of Stauton, Va. and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 7 p.m. today in the Memorial Chapel of McCraw Funeral home with Revs. Temple Myers and Roy Gwinn officiating. Burial will be 1 p.m. Monday in End of the Trail Cemetery in Clintonville.
