- Obituary of Luster Damon Hines
Luster Damon Hines, 76, of Hines died Tuesday in a nursing home after a long illness.
Born May 9, 1894, at Hines, he was a son of the later William and Minnie Zopp Hines.
He had retired from the coal mines and timber industry.
Survivors include his wifr, Pansy McClung Hines, two daughters, Mrs Catheline [sic] Patterson of Fairlea and Miss Margaret Hines of Charleston; two sons, Robert of Covington, Va., and Ordie of Hines; four sisters, Mrs. Della Moore of Hines, Mrs. Lena McClung of Snow Hill, Mrs. Carrie Riley of Saint Albans and Mrs. Ollie Young of Charleston; four brothers, Ted and Cecil both of Hines, Joe of Rupert and Fred of Kasas; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
