- Obituary of Robert Edwin Hines
Robert Edwin Hines, 56, of Covington, Va., formerly of Hines, died Thursday in a Virginia hospital after a long illness.
Born June 25, 1918, in Summers County, he was the son of Mrs. Pansy McClung Hines of Fairlea and the late Luster Hines.
He was a disabled construction worker, was a veteran of world War II, and was a member of the Church of God at Covington, Va.
Other survivors include his wife Glenna Crane Hines,; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Delpha Pavlick of Parma, Ohio, Mrs. Velma Lee McGuire of Meadow Bridge and Mrs, Nelda Light of Buckhannon; two stepsons, Gene Evans of Columbus, Ohio, and Paul Crane of Covington, Va.; two sisters, Mrs, Kathleen Patterson of Fairlea and Miss Margaret Hines of Charleston, one brother, Ordie of Rupert and 22 grandchildren.
