Tamara Lou McLaughlin Matthews, 46, of Stephens City, VA died Saturday, July 11, 2009 at her residence.
She was born September 1, 1962 in Morgantown, West Virginia, the daughter of Earl G. and Wanda McClung McLaughlin. She married Gary Holder Matthews Jr. on October 21, 1988 in Pearisburg, VA. She was a Pharmacist for COSTCO in Winchester, VA.
Along with her husband of Stephens City, VA and parents of Lexington, VA, she is survived by a son, Josiah D. Matthews and a daughter, Lena K. Matthews both of Stephens City, VA; and a sister, Suzanne Fortney of Lexington, VA.
A Memorial service will be held Friday, July 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winchester with Rev. Dr. James H. Utt and Rev. Martha M. Sims.
