Death	Obituary of Margie Lee Hunter RUPERT - Margie Lee Hunter, 80, passed away Monday, July 31, 2000, at Charleston Area Medical Center following a short illness. Born February 12, 1920, in Kieffer, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Mae Crane Crookshanks. Mrs. Hunter was a homemaker and a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church, Kieffer. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Grover G. Hunter; a son, Grover G. Hunter, Jr.; and two brothers, Charles and Orville Crookshanks. Survivors include a son, Ernie Hunter and his wife, Nancy, of Rupert; two daughters, Patsy McClung and her husband J. D., of Rupert and Maxine Holliday and her husband Russell, of Baltimore; two sisters, Mildred Hunter of Kieffer and Velma Curtis of Lexington, KY; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Service will be 2 PM Friday at Smathers Funeral Home Chapel, Rainelle. Beckley Herald Register; Tuesday, August 1, 2000
