- Obituary -- Diane Marcelle Hunter Miller
Diana Marcelle Miller, 75, of Meadow Bluff, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 22 in Ronceverte with her daughters by her side.
She was the daughter of Roy and Stella Hunter.
Diana’s family was her life, especially her great-granddaughters. She was such a loving and giving person. She never knew a stranger, and always worried about other people and doing for everyone else.
She loved her sewing and quilting - a labor of love, if you will.
Anyone who knew her was truly lucky; She was an amazing woman and mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William “Bill” Miller; sisters, Shelvy Miller and Shirley King; and a grandson, Brandon Smith.
She is survived by her children, Claudette Wickline (Tommy Mann), Dorothea Huffman (Robbie- the best-est son-in-law), and Roy Wickline (Rhonda Meadows); sister, Dale Riffey (David); brothers, Warren Hunter (Kaye), and Wyatt Hunter; grandchildren, Carla Tippen, and Vince Smith, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Payten Nesselrodt, and Sarah Tippen; many nieces and nephews; a special mention to Angie Wickline and her children; and her friend of over 50 years - Dee Sizemore.
Services will be held on Wednesday, October 27 at Wallace & Wallace, Rainelle at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Penny Bivens officiating. Burial will follow at Old Amwell Cemetery.
