- Obituary -- Xerdie Blaine McClung Shafer
KESSLER - Mrs. Xerdie Blaine Shafer, 76, of Kessler, died Friday in a Clifton Forge, Va., hospital.
She was a member of Big Clear Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving: son, Lon Gaylon of Frametown; daughters, Mrs. Edna Roland and Mrs. Lenora Mae Fleshman, both of Clintonville, Mrs. Mary Ethel Masters of Caldwell and Mrs. Anna Belle Cookof Kessler; brother Calvin McClung of Quinwood,; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a. m. Monday in Smathers Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Leroy Crane and the Rev. P. E. Orndorff offciating. Burial wil be in Family Cemetery, Kessler.
