- Obituary -- Gloria Joy Tincher Osborne
Gloria Joy Osborne, 79, of Siloam, North Carolina, formerly of Crag, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, to dwell eternally with her Savior, Jesus Christ, and her beloved husband, Howard Lee Osborne.
Born November 13, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Myrtle Brown Tincher.
Gloria was a lifelong member of the Little Sewell Baptist Church in Crag, where she and Howard made their home. A loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, she will be missed dearly by all who knew her. However, her loved ones would not wish her back, for she has been transformed from this earthly body of clay into an eternal and infallible one.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Gloria was preceded in death by her siblings Robert, Fred and Darlene Tincher, and Patty Moy.
Survivor include 3 daughters; one sister; eight grandchildren; three precious great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 9, at Smathers Funeral Chapel, Inc. Burial will follow in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville. Friends may call from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 8 at the funeral home. .
