- Obituary -- Howard Lee Osborne
CRAG — Howard L. Osborne, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at his home following a long illness.
Born on Dec. 17, 1930, he was the son of the late William Everett and Eva Mae Osborne.
Howard was retired from Leckie Smokeless Coal Company. He was a life-long member of Little Sewell Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He also served in the United States Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Gloria Osborne; three daughters, five grandsons, three granddaughters, two sisters, a brother, and a host of friends neighbors and loved ones that will greatly miss him.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at Smathers Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Wallace Memorial Cemetery, Clintonville.
