Thomas C. Cooper, 84, of Alderson, died Mon. Dec. 26, 1994 at Summers County Appalachian Regional Hospital, Hinton, after a long illness.
He was a native of Layland, Fayette County, and a retired farmer. He attended Griffith Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Lorna Scudder Cooper; one daughter, Juanita M. Samples of Fairlea; one son, Tom Franklin of Alderson; and six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Wed. Dec. 28 at Lobben Funeral Home, Alderson, with the Rev. Leroy Crane officiating. Burial followed in the Maude Chapel Cemetery, Dawson.
