- Obituary of William T. King
A funeral service for William Taylor King of 885 So. 42nd St. was held this afternoon, April 12, in Buell Chapel with Major Robert L. Keene officiating. Interment fol-lowed in Lane Memorial Gardens.
Mr. King, who had lived in this vicinity since 1945, died April 9 at a local hospital. He was born Sept. 20, 1902 in Falling Springs, West Virginia, and was united in marriage on Dec. 1, 1928 at Tac-oma, Wash., to Pearl M. Atwood, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Robert of Springfield and Herb of Idaho Falls, Idaho; a daughter, Muriel Pond of Springfield; 11 grandchildren; a brother Herb of Myrtle Point; three sisters, Pearl Foister of Edmonds, Wash., May Estabrook of Bow, Wash., and June Jahn of Lynwood, Wash.
