- Obituary of Patsy Ruth Hines McClung
Patsy Ruth Hines McClung, 84, of Lewisburg passed away April 9, 2011, following a short illness.
Born January 25, 1927, in Hines, she was the daughter of the late William Theodore Hines and Pauline Crane Hines. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McClung was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Shannon McClung; two sisters, Geraldine Pettry and Betty Lewis; and one brother, Richard Gale Hines.
Survivors include her daughters, Deanna (Tony) Colianne of Lewisburg and Karin (Steve) Milroy of Charleston; her sons, Teddy McClung of Dublin, Va., and Gary McClung of Fairlea; grandchildren, Jennifer White of Poquoson, Va., Joshua Mersky of Milwaukee, Wis., Matthew Milroy of Charleston, MaryBeth Milroy of Charleston and Benjamin Colianne of Newport News, Va.; and great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Croxton, Lucas Shannon Mersky and Grant White. Mrs. McClung is also survived by two sisters, Phyllis Green of Gosport, Ind., and Bunny Lewis of Summersville; and one brother, William T. Hines of Thornville, Ind.
Mrs. McClung worked form many years for C&P Telephone Company. She and her late husband spent may winters in Bonita Springs, Fla.
A graveside service will be held at noon Friday, April 15, in Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg, with the Rev. Janice Johnson officiating.
