- Obituary -- Richard Gale Hines
HINES -- Richard Gale Hines, 56, was dead on arrival at a Rainelle medical center, following a short illness.
Born May 4, 1936, at Hines, he was the son of the late Ted and Pauline Crane Hines.
Mr. Hines was a retired miner and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Patty K. Haney of Georgia, two sons, Richard Gale Hines, Jr. and Randal T. Hines, both of Hines; three sisters, Patsy McClung of Lewisburg, Phyllis Green of Gosport, Ind., and Bunny Lewis of Suimmersville; a brother Bill Hines of Thornville, Ohio, and four grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Smathers Funeral Home Chapel , Rainelle, with the Rev. Steve Thomas offciating. Burial will be in the family cemetery, Hines.
