  	Obituary of CARRIE G. SMITH Funeral services fro Mrs. Carrie Gilkeson Smith, 80, of Rainelle, who died Thursday, Feb. 24, at her home, were held Saturday, Feb. 26, at Smathers Funeral Home, Rainelle, the Rev. Bruce Wood and the Rev. Bennie Kenney in charge. Burial was in Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville. Born at Springdale, she was a daughter of the late Samuel T. and Effie Miller Gilkeson and was a ember of the Sturgeon Branch Baptist Church on the Loops Road and was a homemaker. Her husband, George W. Smith, died in 1976 and a son Joseph Charles Smith died earlier this year. Surviving are: two sons, Gayol Smith of Charleston, N. C., and Patrick Smith of Rainelle; four daughters, Madeline Smith of Rainelle, Mildred Johnson of Clifton Froe, Va., Ruth Legg of White Sulphur Springs abd Nancy Myers of Billings, Mont.; two sisters, Madge Haynes of Rainelle and Noral Brearly of Kennett Square, Pa.; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
