Born on March 17, 1942, in Morgantown, WV, the son of the late Homer Dee and V. Maude Powell Cunningham. David worked as an industrial engineer having retired from ABB after 30+ years of service and was a member of First Baptist Church in Rainelle. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Lee Mitchell Cunningham of Rainelle; daughter, Tammy Lee Robinson & husband James of Crawley; son, David D. Cunningham, Jr. of Alderson; and grandchild, Sydney Leigh Robinson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle with Pastor Kenny Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville.
