- Obituary -- Glenna "China" Brown Duryea
China (Glenna) Duryea, 78, of Ronceverte passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
Born May 26, 1944 at Craig, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Irene Puckett Brown.
China served in the Army Reserves and was a devoted nurse and caregiver. She loved to do oil paintings and crossword puzzles. China was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters Alice Eagle and Betty Osborne.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Duryea; daughters Dorcus Teubert and husband Mike of Lewisburg and Teresa Patterson and husband Arlie of Alderson; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one brother Walter (Gus) Brown and wife Cheryl of Hagerstown, Maryland; three sisters Jessie Twohig and husband Dennis of Meadow Bridge, Margaret Spernick and husband George of Brightwood, Virginia, and Bonnie Cooper of Danese; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be 1:00pm on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Grace Bible Church, Asbury, with Pastor Mike Teubert officiating.
