- Obituary -- Pauline Lois Hanshew Simms
Pauline Lois Simms, 89, of Beckley passed on Friday, September 18 at Bowers Hospice House.
She was the daughter of Les and Dorothy Sevy Hanshew.
She loved sewing, cooking, baking, reading, and tending to her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Robert Simms; sisters, Peggy Knight, and Herma Johnson; brothers, Bud Hanshew, Steve Hanshew, and Johnny Hanshew.
She is survived by a daughter, Dottie (Jacob) Huddleston of Beckley; sons, Dennis (Cammie) Simms of Hilton Village, Kenny (Bonnie) Simms of Corliss, and Mike (Susan) Simms of Lookout; sisters, Patty Spade of Rainelle and Phyllis Jones of Lookout; brothers, Hilbert Hanshew of Danese, Donald Hanshew of Radford, VA; grandchildren, Jeff Crist, Greg Crist, Jeremy Simms, Andy Simms, Chris Simms, Brian Simms, Beth Simms, and Ben Simms; great-grandchildren, Alex Crist, Sophie Simms, Henry Simms, Josiah Simms, Abrielle Simms, and Christina Simms.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 23 at Restlawn Memory Gardens at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Chris Simms and Pastor Don Hanshew, Jr. officiating.
