- Obituary of Thelma Louise Moore Spencer
SMOOT -- Thelma Louise Spencer, 79, died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2000, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Fairlea, following a short illness.
Born June 18, 1921, in Hines, she was the daughter of the late Bernard Clark and Della Daisy Hines Moore.
Mrs. Spencer was a member of the Sam Black United Methodist Church and a member of Greenbrier Valley Medical Center Auxilliary, whom she worked with for nine years. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Spencer on Nov. 18, 1986; and a brother, Kenneth Neal Moore.
Survivors include three daughters, Palma Lee Cook of Rupert, Pamela Witt and husband Bill, of Smoot, and Peggy Williams and husband, Roger, of Trout; two sisters, Garnet Hacker of Cooks Town, N.J. and Virginia Black of Elkhorn; a brother, Bernard C. Moore of Abilene, Texas; and one grandchild, Will Witt and his wife Rhonda of Smoot.
