- Obituary -- Nancy Taylor Crane
Nancy A. Crane, 77, of Orrville, died Monday, July 23, 2012, at Aultman Orrville Hospital, after a long period of declining health.
Nancy was born Aug. 22, 1934, in Mannington, W.Va., to Edward and Marie (Hays) Jones and married Jerry L. Crane on June 10, 1973 in Orrville. Jerry survives.
She graduated from Metuchen High School in New Jersey, class of 1953 and had worked as a department manager of health and beauty aids for Buehler's in Orrville for 32 years.
In her youth, Nancy assisted with the U.S.O. during the Korean War. She enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, dirt biking, and any excuse to be outdoors in the sun. She especially enjoyed traveling with her husband to their cabin in Wills Creek.
Surviving are sons, Mike (Amy) Taylor of Marshallville and James Scott (Robin) Taylor of Worthington, W.Va.; a grandson, James (Amanda) Taylor Jr. of Worthington, W.Va.; and sisters, Betty (Glenn) Bauscher of Cheswick, Pa., Alice (George) Duell of Lakeville and Kitty Efaw of Orrville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Gladys Morris.
Services will be Monday, July 30, at 12:30 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
