  	Obituary -- Berta Scurry Farris Berta S. Farris, 95, of Mount Pleasant, died Saturday, May 25, 1996, at East Cooper Hospital. Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 28, 1996, at 4 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of J. Henry Stuhr Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant Chapel. Mrs. Farris was born April 24, 1901, in Lake City, a daughter of John Wilson Scurry and Sallie Graves Scurry. She attended Lake City schools and was a Baptist. Mrs. Farris was the widow of Bethel Richardson Farris. She was a retired sales lady at Kerrison's Department Store. Surviving are three daughters, Sally F. Woodbury, Barbara F. King and Margaret R. Babson, all of Mount Pleasant; 22 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
