- Obituary of Musette L. O'Dell Sample
Former Marting Street resident Musette L. O'Dell Sample, 86, of Lawrence Manor, died at 2:45 a.m. May 9, 2008, in the Overlook Medical Center.
Born June 27, 1921, in Levisay, W. Va., she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Hester Barnette O'Dell.
She was married to Orville Dorsey. He died in 1946.
She married James R. "Bob" Sample on June 2, 1969. He died on Sept. 8, 1992.
Mrs. Sample had been a laborer with Double R Plastic corp., retiring in 1982.
During World Was II she spent three years working as a typist at Gleen L. Martin Aircraft in Baltimore.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce Ann and Allen Spinic of New Castle; two sons and daughters-in-law Kenneth R. and Anna Dorsey of New Castle and Larry C. and Gerry Dorsey of Volant; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands she was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
Burial will be Evergreen Cemetery, New Bedford.
