Fayette Resident Has Fatal Attack
FAYETTEVILLE (RNS) - Mrs. Ruth F. Shawver, 58, of Fayetteville died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday while attending a dinner at Hawks Nest Country Club. Death was attributed to an apparent heart attack.
Born April 1, 1913, at Rainelle, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Ethel Osborne Fleshman. She was a retired employe of the Union Carbide Metal Incorporation at Alloy, a member of the Fayetteville United Methodist Church, Fayetteville Chapter 115, Order of Eastern Star, chairman of the Republican Club, member of the Senior Citizens, and chairman of the Women's Golf League.
Survivors include her husband, Hayden E.; a son, Hayden E. Jr.; two daughters, Mrs. Richard E. Crandall of Miami, Fla., and Mrs. Bill J. Jones of Mobile, Ala.; two brothers, Paul R. Fleshman of Sacramento, Calif., and Basil Fleshman of Rupert; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Simpson of St. Albans, Mrs. Drema Newbold of Miami, Fla. and Mrs. Margaret Whisman of Rainelle, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Fayetteville United Methodist Church with Rev. Billy Wickline in charge. Burial will be in Huse Memorial Park in Fayetteville.
The body will remain at Dodd-Payne Funeral Home where friends may call from 5-10 p.m. today and will be taken to the church one hour prior to services.
