RAINELLE - Irma Mae Haynes Sanford, 79, of Rainelle, passed away Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea, after a short illness.
Born Feb. 8, 1927, in Russellville, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Orion and Myrtle Susan Nutter Haynes.
She was a former clerk in the housewares department at Aide's Discount Store and a personal caregiver for the elderly. Her hobbies were embroidering, crocheting, and quilting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Neville Edgar Sanford, in 1984; three sisters, Vielda Marie Haynes, Esther Stewart, and Alta Dorsey; and a brother, Denvin Haynes.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Sue Nutter of Meadow Bridge and Ronda Ann Lilly of London, Ky.; two sisters, Donna Maxine Gaye of Orlando, Fla., and Eileen Haynes Nutter of Ravenswood; one brother, Olin Haynes of Russellville; and six grandchildren, J.R. Clark, Jarred Wayne Nutter, Christopher Ryan Neal, Joshua Alan Neal, Samantha Erin Neal, and Triston Anthony Lilly.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at the Wallace Memorial Mausoleum in Clintonville, with the Rev. Mike Tincher officiating.
Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, at the Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home.
