  The Charleston Gazette, 3 June 1985 WALKUP, MRS. GERTRUDE M. service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wallace-Wallace Funeral Home, Rainelle, with the Rev. Leroy Crane and the Rev. J.D. Surbaugh officiating. Entombment will be in Wallace Memorial Mausoleum, Clintonville. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m today at the funeral home. Mrs. Walkup, 73, of Rainelle, died Saturday at home after a long illness. She was a member Sewell Valley Baptist Church and was a registered nurse. Surviving: daughter, Theresa Johnson of Rupert; son, Maxwell Richard Walkup of Big Springs, Texas; sisters, Bonnie Helling of Martins Ferry, Ohio and Madeline Ray of Walbridge, Ohio; two grandchildren.
