CLIFTON FORGE, Va. -- Patricia Walkup Craft, 68, of 1710 Main St., Cliftonwoods Apartments, died Friday, April 8, 2005, at Alleghany Regional Hospital, Low Moor, Va.
Born Aug. 31, 1936, at Clearco, she was a daughter of Orville Haynes and Bonnie McClung Walkup.
Mrs. Craft was a retired registered nurse, having worked for the Augusta Correctional Center in Craigsville. She was a member of Longdale United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Keith and Warren Walkup.
Survivors include three daughters, Deborah C. Jeffries and husband, David, Rhonda C. Haynes and husband, Greg, and Bonnie Van Buren, all of Clifton Forge; three sons, Gene L. Craft Jr. and wife, Laura, of Vermont, and Keith M. Craft and wife, Teri, and Thomas H. Craft, all of Clifton Forge; a sister, Margie Sykes of Clintonville; 14 grandchildren; former husband, Gene L. Craft Sr.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her wishes, her body was cremated and a memorial service was held by the family Tuesday at Longdale United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Gregory officiating, assisted by the Rev. Bill Dillon.
