RAINELLE - Elizabeth Leora Tincher, 74, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, in Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a short illness.
Born June 4, 1928, at Crawley, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Enna Walkup Ford.
She was a homemaker and a member of Lilly Valley Baptist Church in Rainelle.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde C. Tincher.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Williams; three sons, Dale Tincher and wife, Kathy, of Raleigh, N.C., Donnie Tincher and wife, Jewel, of Covington, Va., and Denny Tincher and wife, Susan, of Eagle Rock, Va.; a daughter, Gail Avis and husband, Ernie, of Danese; five sisters, Colleen Clark of Phoenix, Ariz., Gloria Cadle of Barstow, Calif., Jewell Barnett of Ann Arbor, Mich., Lola Gaye Ford of Russellville and Martha Lynn Bartleson of San Antonio, Texas; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Lilly Valley Baptist Church at Lilly Park, Rainelle, with Pastor Don Bean officiating. Burial will follow in End of the Trail Cemetery, Clintonville.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. today at Smathers Funeral Chapel, Rainelle.
